FAKIR'S PENZANCE R'S PG Draw is a good-natured, exceedingly handsome buck whose pedigree
nicely complements what we’re working with. He appraised very well as a
2 y.o. scoring within or above the ideal range in nearly every category, excelling in the areas of Head, Dairy Character &
Body, scoring ‘Excellent’; Front & Rear Legs, Back, Rump & General Appearance, scoring “Very Good”.
He has several paternal sisters who have earned their Permanent Championships, appraised impressively & shown very
successfully in their local areas as well as on the National level. A paternal
sister, One*Oak*Hill Cycas Jala http://gatewoodfarm.com/jala.shtml was a 2003 Spotlight consignment kid who appraised Ec Ec Ec, overall EC at 5 months old.
Another paternal sister, CH Autumn Acres Ms. Solaris was awarded 2006 ADGA National Grand Champion & National
Best Udder Recorded Grade with her daughter winning Jr. National Grand Champion – wow! Three paternal
sisters reside here in our herd: Autumn Acres
Cuddly Carmella https://mystiquemeadow.tripod.com/lm/id29.html. One*Oak*Hill
Cycas Jrusset https://mystiquemeadow.tripod.com/lmjrs/id12.html One*Oak*Hill Cycas Jeul https://mystiquemeadow.tripod.com/lm/id34.html Draw’s dam, Dioon is a beautiful doe who can do it all, enjoying a successful show career, appraising overall
Excellent/92 as a 4 y.o. & milking 3000#+, too! Dioon is also a maternal
sister to one of our favorite does, GCH One*Oak*Hill Tumbleweed Diva *M 7-04 EX93, the 1999 ADGA National Best LaMancha
Udder http://www.mktdesigns.com/kastdemurs/diva.html We feel very fortunate to have the superb genetics Draw brings to the
herd & look forward to trying our best to use them to their potential! So
far, so good as we have been truly elated with his kids. They have been very
consistent - & consistently terRIFfic. Very correct throughout, nice, easy-going, hardy & easy-keeping
girls w/ nice, strong bone to them yet ohhhh soooo dairyyyy once you sink your fingers into that fabulous skin &
flat, open ribbing! The daughters we've freshened thus far have all come in with
very correct, very pretty & very productive mammaries, too - wonderful texture; nice, strong medial suspensory ligaments
& nearly ideal teats - a pleasure to hand-milk. The resemblance to their grandma Dioon becomes more & more apparent
as they develop & . . .we're pretty excited about what that might mean for their futures. J
