Lost Nation Surge "Callista"

chocolate w/ wattles; cream splash on left rear leg

Sire: *B Willow Run Chalupa Surge

Dam: Autumn Acres “Cycas” Carmella LA 4-03 87 VEVV; several 1sts & RGCHs

Carmella blessed us with 1Buck/2Doe triplets this year & boy, are they nice!

Representative of what we’re seeing in the Surge kids, they’re dairy & elegant, angular & open with long, lean necks, sharp withers; long bone patterns; soft, pliable skin; exhibiting high, wide & rounded escutcheon arches with proper teat placement & correct leg set front & rear.

As you can see, this pretty little chocolate girl was less than enthralled about posing & consequently, the pictures don’t show her to her potential.  We hope that you can squint through the uncooperativeness & see what an elegant & fancy kid she is.  She’s a real long, stretchy & sharp kid with the regal, high-headed carriage we love to see – & whew, how ‘bout those mammary genetics behind her?  With Surge’s dam’s twin sister winning 2006 National Best LaMancha Udder & with Carmella’s paternal sister winning 2006 ADGA National Grand Champion & Best Udder Recorded grade, this breeding seems like a no-brainer!  :D
