& most notably, her "to-die-for" mammary! A bit immature from being bred
too early & then raising twin bucklings, she was dried off immediately after coming to our farm. She has since caught right up with the rest of her same-aged herdmates & is blossoming into the
wonderful doe one would anticipate would result from her ancestry. Roseta's also a well-bred doe with her lineage/inbreeding percentages including many herd-names instrumental to the
development & progress of the breeds from which she's derived. Her sire is
not only a double Tumbleweed grandson but also a son of the magnificent Jrupent, an EX92 doe who was also named the 2003 ADGA
National Best Udder LaMancha. Roseta’s dam’s lineage incorporates the lines of some nationally
renowned herds with some “regionally renowned” herds whose animals we’ve long admired. Winterwood, Aspen Hill & Hoach are successful, well-established breeders of excellent LaManchas &
Alpines. Roseta’s maternal great-grandfather, *B Aspen Hill’s XL is the sire
of several stunning daughters, including: GCH Winterwood’s XL MacKenzie 4*M LA: 1-03 86 +E+V (littermate sister of
Roseta’s maternal grandsire, *B Winterwood’s XL Majesty) GCH Winterwood’s XL Carmel 4*M LA: 3-03 88 VEEE GCH Winterwood’s XL Hummingbird 4*M LA: 2-02 88 +EEE And, with the eminent ++*B WINTERWOODS THE MEDICINE MAN topping her Inbreeding %, we suppose it shouldn’t be
a surprise that her mammary is truly remarkable being extremely snugly attached; high, wide & rounded in the rear; smooth
& well-extended in the fore with a good medial & completing the package with ideal teat size & placement. We have been extremely pleased
with the consistency exhibited in Roseta’s “First Cousins”: Lost Nation
