As soon as Banzai was born, we knew she was something special . . . just as we felt about her dam, Bangle when she was born!  This little doe is a powerhouse & wide, wide, wiiiiiiiiiiide!

Banzai was a fat, little piglet as a kid . . . a fat, little piglet as a yearling annnnnnnnd yep, you guessed it!  A fat little piglet as a 2 y.o.!

2007, she kidded with gorgeous twins x Surge & freshened with a small but very nice, very correct mammary.  I let her raise her boys hoping to stimulate more milk production & maybe burn off some of that baby fat & . . .it worked!  That is, until I sold the boys.  Then, Miss Piggy went right back to putting all her feed into her belly instead of into the milk pail.  She spent the rest of that lactation kept on mostly pasture w/ minimal grain on the milkstand &, although her same-aged paternal sister, Couscous milked circles around her (& many of the more mature does, for that matter, LOL!), Banzai at least slimmed down considerably.

All that aside, there's no denying Banzai is developing into a snazzzzYYY doe!  She practically screams General Appearance & has an absolutely irresistible (albeit mischievous!) personality that just worms its way into your heart.

2008 Update: Ms. Mischief & a couple partners in crime managed to escape from their pen & apparently spent the night in the milking parlor, gleefully wreaking havoc & helping themselves to approximately 1,327 lbs of various feed items.  Banzai nearly ate herself to death (surprise), but miraculously survived the resulting Entero she had to be nursed through.  Her unborn kids however, weren't so lucky.  I did manage to get her to come into milk but understandably, her production isn't where it should be.
