Charm is a mild-mannered, easy-keepin’ grand old gal who was brought in for her lineage & prepotency as a Brood Doe.  She also managed an appraisal of 88 VEVV as a 7 y.o. even after enduring a day's trailer-ride to get here, the day before . . . spending the blustery, stormy night in a strange place . . . then early the next morning, being unceremoniously loaded into a trailer yet again, stuffed amongst a bunch of less-than-friendly strangers & careening through MORE rain, down bumpy, muddy gravel roads to the host farm to be scrutinized.

She is a large, lonnnnnng & level doe who's maintaining nicely & standing on strong feet & legs.  She scored within the idea range in most areas of Linear Appraisal, with a few being particularly noteworthy: 36 Dairyness; 35 Rump Angle, 40 in Fore Udder Attachment; E Back & E Rump.  She still shows very respectably, usually standing behind herdmate, Bliss in the Aged Doe class . . . & adding quite a few RGCHs to her resume, too.  She ended the 2005 show season by finally beating out her herdmates for Grand Champion at our County Fair as an 8 year old!  Unfortunately, it’s a non-sanctioned show, but . . . we remain optimistic that she’ll be able to earn that 3rd leg one of these days!   ;)
