We were so excited when Firefly gave us a daughter for 2005.  Tse Tse looks just like a miniature version of her dam & we’re anxious to see how she develops!

2007 Update: Tse Tse is maturing into a gorgeous doe &, as a 2 y.o. first freshener, is looking even more like a replica of her dam.  Unlike her dam's daughter-producing miserliness however, Tse Tse blessed us w/ pretty little TWIN doelings x Rap!  Even more exciting is that they look very much like mom & grandma Firefly w/ their typey heads, long & level toplines, terrific rumps & overall strength!   Tse Tse also freshened with a very nice mammary that's high & wide in the rear & well attached all the way around, showing improvements in the areas of rear height & arch, fore extension, teat size & texture.  We’ve also been quite appreciative of her overall hardiness as, like her dam, she never seems to be much affected by the crazy weather extremes Michigan’s infamous for &, like her dam, maintains conditioning without folderol.  We’re particularly impressed with the “will to milk” Tse Tse’s demonstrating, especially considering the weirder-than-usual weather we’ve had this year, combined w/ the pretty sorry excuse for hay we’ve been forced to use due to late Spring freezes followed by mid-Summer drought.  Gotta love a doe who manages to come gallivanting into the parlor w/ a full udder every day, no matter HOW nasty the weather OR how simple the foodstuff, LOL!  *wink*
